State Accounts For 10% of New Jobs
Job growth in Indiana is receiving national attention. The Wall Street Journal reports the state has experienced the largest percentage increase in the nation in jobs over the past year. The 1.9 percent increase is due mainly to an increase in manufacturing jobs. Indiana Department of Workforce Development Communications Director Marc Lotter says there are several factors behind the numbers.
