Emphasis on Competency, Affordability

A new competency-based university for Indiana residents has been established. WGU Indiana is a partnership between the state and online institution Western Governors University. It also has the support of the Lumina Foundation and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. Governor Mitch Daniels says the announcement is the beginning of "Indiana's eighth state university."
