All Indiana Counties Meet Air Quality Standards

The state says all 92 counties now meet federal air quality standards for the first time since passage of the Clean Air Act in 1970. Governor Mitch Daniels says the Indiana Department of Environmental Management has been working toward this goal for several years. That includes wiping out a backlog of expired air permits.
