Labor Official: State Well-Positioned For Work Force Training

A federal labor official says Indiana's community college system give it a "distinct advantage" in providing Hoosiers with the skills to keep the state successful in the 21st century economy. Department of Labor and Training Assistant Secretary Jane Oates says a single system through Ivy Tech Community College means all providers are working together to address work force needs. Oates says Indiana is poised to be an international competitor in emerging green industries.
