New Teacher Requirements to Become Official

New rules for teacher licensing and preparation will be signed by Governor Mitch Daniels today. The rules will require secondary education teachers to have a baccalaureate degree with a major in the content area they wish to teach and a minor in education. The changes are also designed to help adults in other careers more easily enter the teaching profession.
