Indiana Home Sales Fall, Median Prices Up

03.25.10

In the first county-by-county comparison of existing single-family home sales in Indiana, the Indiana Association of REALTORS says sales in February fell 2.6 percent from the same month last year. However, officials say median prices rose 6.7 percent, the fifth consecutive month with an increase. Association Spokesman Jason Thompsey says that despite the lower numbers, the trend has slowed and realtors are optimistic the market is on its way back.
