Senate Committee to Vote on Unemployment Taxes

The Indiana Senate Tax and Fiscal Policy Committee is scheduled to meet today and could take action on a proposal that would delay a tax increase on employers. The tax hike was part of legislation passed earlier this year in order to shore up the state's unemployment insurance fund. The measure before the Senate committee would postpone an increase until 2011.
