Former Anderson Mayor Lands New Job

Clinton County has selected former Anderson Mayor Kevin Smith to lead its economic development efforts. Smith, who served as mayor from 2004 to 2008, will assume duties as Chamber of Commerce chief executive officer and manager of economic development in January. During his time as mayor, Smith worked on several high profile economic development projects, including NestleUSA, Altairnano and Mancor Industries.
