Benton County Wind Project Now Operational

Commercial operation of the 106 megawatt wind farm in Benton County is officially underway. The Hoosier Wind Project and its 53 REpower turbines are being operated by enXco Service Corporation. The farm is producing carbon-free electricity for Indianapolis Power & Light Company, which has a 20-year Power Purchase Agreement with the operation.
