11.17.09

Logansport Memorial Hospital in Cass County is adjusting its 2010 budget after Governor Mitch Daniels announced plans to cut Medicaid reimbursement to Indiana hospitals by 5 percent. Chief Executive Officer Brian Shockney says the implications could mean losing six full-time positions, postponing capital purchases and passing on the cost associated with more than 1,000 tests and treatments to other patients.
