Lafayette Area to Examine Commercial Air Possibilities

Purdue University, area economic development officials and three local governments are teaming up to determine interest in commercial air service at Purdue Airport. The groups will fund a $27,500 study on whether a commercial carrier should return to the facility. The last time the Purdue Airport offered commercial airline service was in 2004.
